College Park Wine Walk


Wednesday, November 11; 6:00 to 10:00 pm; College Park Wine Walk

You’ve experienced the tours of Winter Park, Lake Mary, Thornton Park, and Baldwin Park. Now it’s time to experience the College Park Wine Walk. Five restaurants, five different atmospheres, five countries represented. Wine glass pick up at Paxia Restaurant.

About the Event

You’ll receive one glass of wine at five College Park restaurants; all located within a three block distance: Adriatico, K Wine Bar,Harmoni, Paxia, and Juliana’s. You’ll receive a wine glass and a passport that will allow you to experience different atmospheres and their specialty wines while raising money for “Tomorrow's Investments Matter”.

 

Central Florida Comedy Showcase


Friday, October 23, 2009; Pre-reception/Seating – 6:30pm; Showtime – 8:30pm Embassy Suites Downtown Orlando, 191 E Pine Street (Corner of Pine and Rosalind)

A stand-up comedy show to benefit the fight against breast and prostate cancers: “It’s All About the T’ n’ A’!” Jersey, Tight Mike, Laurie Fondiler, and Maryellen Hooper have four completely different styles of comedy that will have everyone rocking with laughter. This two-hour show will entertain you in a way that Orlando hasn’t seen in years! $20 in advance / $30 at the door, limited to 400 people. V.I.P. tables and premier seating is available.

The Baldwin Park Progressive Wine Tasting


Thursday, September 17; 5:30 to 8:30 pm

We go a little more upscale with this particular “Wine Walk”. Six participating locations will offer samples or glasses of wine up and down New Broad Street right through the heart of Baldwin Park. Paddy Murphy’s, Bullfish, Jack’s Steakhouse, Lago, UpTown Park Wine Bar, and WineStyles are the host locations offering the wine. You’ll pick your glass up at New Broad Street Realty and start your tour in any direction you prefer. $25 per person and proceeds to benefit the Audubon Park Elementary School in Baldwin Park.

 

The Wine Flavors of Thornton Park


Saturday, September 12: 6:00 to 10:00 pm

Wildside BBQ, Dexter’s, Anthony’s and Hue will provide the wine while we provide the glass and passport. Go in any order you’d like, stay as long as you’d like, have as much fun as you’d like! Proceeds will benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. $20 passport registration.

 

Progressive Dinner Downtown Orlando Restaurants


Saturday, August 15; 5:30 – 9:30 PM

Can’t decide where to go for dinner? How about four different places?! Join us for a Progressive Dinner where you’ll receive a different course of dinner at four different restaurants. Start with appetizers at the first restaurant for one hour then move to the second restaurant, the third, and the fourth for an hour each which ends with a larger meal or dessert (exact meals have yet to be decided). Get the idea? Fun, food, and fundraising! Proceeds will go to benefit Rock For Reading.

Central Florida Non-Profit Expo

The Expo is designed to cater to Central Florida non-profit organizations. It’s an event that focuses on new & creative fundraising ideas while reinforcing the education and experience of previously successful methods. The “C.F. Non-profit Expo” will provide expert guest speakers, supporting organizations & vendors, fundraising tips, complimentary appetizers & food samples from preferred caterers, and unique networking opportunities. And best of all…this event is absolutely free to all non-profit organizations!

Limousine Scavenger Hunt


July 25, 2009; 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Howl at the Moon, 8815 Int’l Drive

Teams of eight to fourteen people journey throughout Central Florida in five-star limousines gathering items, visiting locations, and completing tasks for points to win prizes. Cash prizes awarded for the best costumed/uniformed team and first place! Participation includes limousine, admission to Howl at the Moon, free drink specials, two bottles of vodka, and an appetizer buffet. Proceeds to benefit I’m Too Young For This. Registration $50! Space is Limited to 200 people, 21 and up only.

The Winter Park Sip


Friday, July 17, 2009; 5:00 – 10:00 PM

Winter Park is one of the most beautiful and relaxing communities in the Orlando area and they’re ready to host a wine event that reflects the image of the neighborhood. Stroll around Winter Park’s Park Avenue and New England Avenue, and the side streets for your complimentary wine from the many participating restaurants. Restaurants will cater to the participants of the Winter Park Sip with excellent customer service, drink and food specials, and incentives to return. Ages 21 and up. $20 registration fee to benefit A Gift For Teaching. Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot -the event is limited to the first 250 people.

Winter Park, Park Avenue Area Restaurants; In association with the Park Avenue Area Block Party, July 17 – 19 including a sidewalk sale, movie in the park, etc….

 

Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction


Saturday, June 20, 2009; 6:00 – 10:00 PM

20 Handsome Bachelors and Beautiful Bachelorettes, paired with extravagant date packages, were auctioned off to benefit The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and the American Cancer Society. A free martini was offered to everyone upon arrival and a silent auction assisted with raising funds. Puff n Stuff provided excellent service and did a wonderful job of catering. Over 400 people enjoyed themselves throughout the evening and plan on attending next year!
